וְנֵר֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־קִ֔ישׁ וְקִ֖ישׁ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־שָׁא֑וּל וְשָׁא֗וּל הוֹלִ֤יד אֶת־יְהֽוֹנָתָן֙ וְאֶת־מַלְכִּי־שׁ֔וּעַ וְאֶת־אֲבִינָדָ֖ב וְאֶת־אֶשְׁבָּֽעַל׃
A Ner spłodził Kisha; a Kisz spłodził Saula; a Saul spłodził Jonatana, i Malchszuę, i Abinadaba, i Eszbaala.

Eshbaal That is Ish Bosheth, and he is nicknamed “bosheth,” because “baal” is an expression of lordship, and he nicknamed him “bosheth,” an expression of disgrace.
